What is the best race for Death Knight?
I have recenlty started wow and i have a 62 dk and a 80 priest. i was wondering which is the Best race for a DK on both sides: alliance AND horde. i want a reason why, too.
Im going for a different death knight.
I would choose an Orc because of the axe specialization skill.
I used to play WoW for 2 years but i had to unfortunately give it us because it is my exam year.

How do I spec and gear a frost (human) death knight?
I have no idea how to build the talents being a frost death knight. I’m assuming I’m supposed to use a 2 hander but with the new Threat of Thassarian talent I’m not too sure. The abilities are common sense (haha), but I mainly need help with weapon selection and talents.

it depends on what class you enjoy playing, my first character was a tauren shaman (he sucked) i stopped playing on (at level 40, low on cash :}) him cuz i thought he was boring. i made a Belf warlock and leveled him to level 80 using the same amount of time i used to level my shaman to level 40. = you shouldn’t care about what level they are.
i don’t have any level 80 DKs or Shamans so i`m not sure about who got the highest dps and things like that. so my advice is to play the class i enjoy most playing try level it to 80 and if you don’t like him/her level the other class. (it’s draneii not dranei)

In World of Wacraft, if you transfer a lvl 55 to another account, can you keep your death knight?
So my brother and i share the same account on WoW and he lvled his warrior up to lvl 55 and made a death knight. My character is only 35. Since we are on the same account we can’t play at the same time to quest together. So is it possible to transfer his warrior to another account, so that i could use his death knight and we could play together? The warrior is the only charcter we have over lvl 55 so if we lose him do we lose the death knight too?
As long as you have a level 55 character (including a Death Knight) in one realm, you can create a Death Knight in another.
What I would suggest is creating a Death Knight and then transfer the level 55 warrior.
Keep in mind that if you were to do this, BOTH accounts need the same name and info. Blizzard doesn’t allow transferring of characters into any accounts.

How long do the Death Knight starting quests take (World of Warcraft)?
I’ve never made a Death Knight before and just want to know an estimate of how long the quests take. I plan on doing all the quests for all the blue gear
This question has a few different answers.
1. If you are just starting out with your first Death Knight, have never done the quests before, and have no assistance from questing addons such as Quest Helper or Carbonite, I would say that the quests would take a little more than a 3 hours. Reading the quest text of every quest can take some time and even then, you might not understand what to do. I suggest starting a DK with someone who does have a quest addon to assist you or someone who knows what to do for the quests.
2. If you DO have a quest addon to assist you, I would say these would take anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours. Just make sure you have an updated version of your quest addon as DKs are new to Wrath of the Lich King and the quest chain might not be included (though I don’t even know if there aren’t any non-updated ones anymore).
3. If you’ve done these quests before and know what to do, an hour and a half at most. As with all quests, with experience the time taken to complete them is severely lessened.

World of Warcraft Is a Blood Death Knight’s healing improved by duelwielding?
Just curoius as to whether or not i should duel wield with my blood death knight. Does anyone know if duel weapons will hurt or improve my self healing effects over a two handed weapon??? In other words, will i heal myself more while duel wielding or by weilding a two handed weapon?

How does a Death Knight obtain a minion?
We just upgraded our World of Warcraft to Lich King version. My husband’s death knight is a level 58, and he was told that he should have gotten his minion. Where does he get it from?
The earlier posters were correct, the trainer in Ebon Hold will teach you how to raise a ghoul which could serve as a minion. But his ghoul is only temporary and will fall apart within two minutes (prompting you to resummon a new one) and it will only blindly attack, you cannot control their actions.
If you allocate your talent points into Unholy, you will eventually get the ability to summon a permanent ghoul who will behave like a standard controllable pet (like a hunter or warlock).
