As far as I know, there’s no HD movie of this event out, so I decided to make one myself!

After wiping out the Scarlet Crusade at New Avalon and Havenshire, as well as the armies from Hearthglen and Tirisfal which came to assist the New Avalon forces, the Lich King orders the destruction of the Argent Dawn, the last remaining resistance of any size in the Plaguelands at Light’s Hope Chapel.
Highlord Darion Mograine, wielding the Corrupted Ashbringer, leads Orbaz Bloodbane, Koltira Deathweaver, Thassarian and a force of 10,000 Scourge against 300 Defenders of the Light and the Argent Dawn leadership located at Light’s Hope.

How did you achieve so good game quality? I played with ultra crispy settings, and it didn’t look so atmospheric and so gothic as in this video.
Last question is (which isn’t gonna change anything): why did you make your deathknight walk up to the king like that? As if the guards throwing rotten fruits at you wasn’t enough.
1. The fraps …
1. The fraps material is color edited after I shot it. The original shots here got the same quality as everyones fraps materials. I’ve basically fixed the gain, the gamma, etcetera.
2. I did it to create a parallell story in the movie.

Fy faen for en utrulig bra video! Jeg har sett den nå sikkert 10ende gangen denne uka… jeg får rett og slett ikke nok ^^ kjempebra jobb der må jeg si. Har sett sikkert en billion versjoner av denne scenen, men ingen av de kan måle seg med dette kunstverket. Seriøst noe av det beste jeg har sett!

I made a Death Knight character- However, I did not participate in the battle for Light’s Hope Chapel. I rode to the outskirts of where it was being fought, but while the Scourge’s minions were being slaughtered, I did nothing.
When Tirion arrived, I entered the fray and watched the Death Knights surrender. I later joined my brothers, (Fellow players as I call them) in taking back Acherus.

I’m sure Alexandros …
I’m sure Alexandros obtained the dark crystal during the battle at the burning steppes, i thought he took it from a orc?
I’m sure he didn’t have it since he was a boy.. And the holy magic used on it wasn’t an idea presented, it was another seeking to destroy the crystal because of it’s foul taint. When the magic was absorbed, the darkness seemed to fade, so they continued the holy assualt till it turned into a crystal of light. It was with this, that they made Ashbringer.

That is correct, Alexandros got the crystal from an Orc Warlock at the Battle for Blackrock Spire. The sword was forged from the crystal by King Bronzebeard.

This game will never die! Until they produce a trilogy or more that tells the story in a way that “gets it right”, World of Warcraft will never die! The story is just too rich. Bring it on! and make a few million in the process!
