How to get a Death Knight on World of Warcraft?
My brother has the level 55 character and Wrath of the Lich King, but we can’t seem to figure out how to get him a Death Knight. Any ideas/suggestions?
Like you said, you need to be level 55 to unlock the Death Knight. After you get to level 55, all you have to do is go into the character creation page to make a new character and each race should have a death knight class option. If it’s not appearing, you might have to contact Blizzard. They might have you reinstall WOTL, which is a pain in the @ss, but they might also have a better fix.
If you JUST dinged 55, it might take a half hour/hour for it to register and unlock.

Try leveling up the toon another level and then go to create a character. Pick a race you want and the death knight class option should be available for use.

If he has a level 55 character and WotLK then when he goes to the Character Creation screen it should be open to him.

Playing WoW since Launch
Level another character to 55. From there go to [Create a new character] and then choose the Death Knight option for class (Looks like an axe). From there you can choose race and begin playing again as if you had been a DK from levels 1-55
