Death Knights can …
Death Knights can DPS, they have a very complicated rotation compared to the other classes though. Let’s just say, you’ll be able to tell a good deathknight from a bad deathknight after the first boss fight. A good death knight will be doing very nice DPS, a bad one, will up his rotations and button smash and do damage.

soo death knight deff wont be like a arms warrior…im used to spamming SS with my rogue lol but ill deff look into death kngihts…wats the best way to go ….i heard unholy is good for lvling up and pve…and dps overall but i heard blood is too…wat do u think ?

It’s hard to say. Unholy’s DPS is mediocre, but they bring more utility.
Frost deals nice burst damage and has some great tanking talents along with some CC. This looks to be a great tanking spec with duel wield and hit rating in place and also a great pvp spec with its burst and some CC.
Blood seems to focus more on sustained dps, and some aggro generation from self heals but they have more damage dealing talents. Focussing more on 2handers, it seems like it can do both decently.

yes, my paladin WAS badly geared, but since i hit 70 before wotlk, i was sitting at 1.4k dps wiht my badge gear, now woltk has come, people leveling will have no resis… paladins are going to have some fun!

Blood spec, like …
Blood spec, like this guy, has alot lower dps, although higher than most tanks. Thats right blood is the death knight tank spec. It has spells which increase ur parry, decrease damage taken, allow the death knight to regenerate health, and allow the death knight to generate threat on those he tanks. Death knights will make effective baseline tanks as blood, although main tanking bosses with them will be tough.

Frost has the highest crits, alot of direct damage as well as spells which use the dots to increase damage. It also has a very usefull PVP/raidCC spell that can be used in raids. It also had a raid buff alot like the beast mastery hunters, but it is a bit better. Hence this is the main DPS spec for most people.
Unholy is more for …
Unholy is more for dots, as well as raid isting, it also gives you slightly more AOE damage and the ability to use a ghoul as a hunter would use a pet. Unholy also focuses moer on desieses and DOTs.

death knights look very fun! i cant wait to make one when the expansion comes out, i havent done any beta playing so i have no idea what to expect, i just hope speccing wont be confusing, because what people are saying about it makes it seem like it will be !

The death knight …
The death knight trees are designed differently to that of the shamans. They can’t be compared. Shamans have healing spec, ranged dps spec, and melee dps spec. 3 different specs.
Just because frost may slightly favour tanking, this isn’t what blizzard intended. All 3 specs are supposed to be able to do their main jobs, both tanking AND dps. If you see an enhancement shaman in healing gear stormstriking and meleeing, then he is a newb who needs to L2P. You simply can not compare them.
LOL this guy has average items and is only doing average DK dps. Spec unholy, its great for pvp, leveling and doing instances. Especially good on the bosses. Your ghoul keeps fighting while you can run back and bandage yourself up. GO Unholy DK!
