You may be able to use the "Lich King" DVD to install for the first time as well, if you have serial numbers or an existing account. In fact, Blizzard recommends anyone re-installing WoW to only use the Wrath of The Lich King DVD, and not the original game and The Burning Crusade. This post will be irrelevant after Cataclysm is released.
