What world of Warcraft class should i choose?/What Side should i choose horde or alliance?
What class should i choose? i like to do massive damage, i also enjoy soloing instances. Another question to ask …….. can shamans aggro massive amounts of mobs , and how so? if u have any question about wow feel free to message me. =] thanks
Hmm, today almost every class can do massive damage.. it all comes down to how good you are with you class and if you know how to maximize the DPS… anyhow, we still have 3 pure dps’s class’s, so I’d say chose one of those.. Rogues: Rogues are World of Warcraft’s premiere melee damage dealer and especially effective in PvP. They have access to a wide range of special abilities, which depend on their constantly refilling pool of energy. Unlike other classes, such as the Hunter who has the ability to deal physical damage from a distance, Rogues must be in close. Mages: The mage is a caster that specializes in burst damage and area of effect spells. His primary role in a group at lower levels is damage dealing and crowd control through the use of Polymorph, temporarily changing humanoids and beasts into harmless critters. At end-game levels, the role of the mage expands into utility, as many encounters in the game are difficult to finish without Counterspell, Remove Curse, and Spellsteal.
Warlocks: Warlocks were once arcanists – or shamans in the case of the orcs – who in pursuit of ever-greater sources of power abandoned their studies of the Arcane or Nature and delved into darker, fel-based magic (Shadow). Warlocks still retain their skills in the manipulation of the chaotic element of Fire, although their focus is on delivering excruciating pain and drawing out the suffering of their victims. ____ About which class it’s about what you like the most.. or what you use for, I like undeads as they have a spell called “Will of the Forsaken” which can remove fears, charms, and sleeps. this makes undeads a good choice for PvP characters. ____ For what faction.. hmm, this is mostly up to your self, and / or what your friends play I hear a lot people come with reasons like, Play horde, as all the small kids play alliance, as they want to be humans.. not true.. There are just as many kids that want to play horde, to be the evil as there are kids that wanna play humans to be the good.. so you can’t just say that either of the faction is the one with lessest retards, I guess both factions have about the same amount of retards.. .. If I have to talk for my self, I’d say horde.. I started out playing alliance, pre tbc, and doing tbc, but after I had been running alittle aound in tbc as NE druid, I got bored.. I chosed to reroll horde, on a server with a few of my friends ^^ and I’m still playing there, and with the same character as I did when I rerolled.. and imo, Hordes are alot more fun to play

Any race, any faction, and any class… Read Wowwiki about each class and race and see what you like best!
Pick what looks better, what are the racial qualities of your race.
For classes – decide what you want to have as an advantage, and what to have as a disadvantage. For instance – Mages can do high amounts of damage, but take alot of it too. Or how warlocks can summon people to their location.
Pick what you like best. Pick what you want to do best, and what class suits you most.

Rogues and Mages are pretty much the best for straight damage and damage over time. They're also rather fragile when surrounded or ambushed in close quarters.
A hybrid wont' deal quite as much damage, but can better adapt to more situations. I personally like druid, being able to switch from decent DPS as cat to withstand more attacks as bear. It's still tough to solo elites and instances at/slightly above your level, but that's the point.
Shammys are mostly support, helping with buffs. They're not really designed for crowd control like locks/mages/dks.

If you like soloing you can be a warrior which then you should choose orcs. Also you can pick paladin which you can pick Blood elf if you don't have burning crusade then go with the alliance for paladin. Shamans can do a lot of damage depending on the skill you pick for you it would be elemental because that does the most damage.

What i seem to do is to have 3 to 4 different toons on the go at the same time. Say 1 mage 1 priest 1 warlock and 1 shaman i will level them to 20 then i will pick my favorate out of the 4. I also try to make them the same type DPS as you can see they are all ranged this will get me used to ranged DPS instead of close up combat. If i was into close combat then i would try say 1 warrior 1 paladin and 1 rogue and see which style of play i like out of them
Have fun
