Why does World of Warcraft seem boring to me?
Ive been playing World of Warcraft for about 15 months. And most people keep going on and on about how addictive it is and how it can ruin your social life.
Well i haven't experienced any of those things. Its not even slightly addictive to me. I was wondering if mabye im not experiencing it the way other people are because of the high latency i play on.
I use satellite internet which gets me about 1400 ms. I can't really play a rogue or warrior because of that. But on the battlegrounds like Arathi Basin i play a hunter and im always in the top 3 damage dealers.
It feels wierd how everyone finds it soo fun but me on the other hand i get board doing the quests.
Is it my personallity that makes it seem so boring too me? Or is it not as fun because of the latency issue mabye? Does that make it harder for me to play?
What are your thoughts on this?

Honestly its not your personality or latency issue. I think that you are just growing out of the science fiction era of your life. Maybe you shoudl try to play like world war games somthing like that as opposed to fantasy games

I had an account for a couple of months and quit
Didn't care for the Genre. Staying online for a couple of hours to finish a quest and such, wasting time looking for bodies.
I only have time for the quick First person shooter skirmish's like BF2 or COD4

hey maybe you have your own unique opinion on the game and dont just fall into line with the rest of the WoW addicts in the world. maybe you dont like games with quests. try picking up something like crackdown or call of duty 4, maybe youd like a shooter or a sandbox game. idk but id say you find it boring because you DONT LIKE IT. im just sayin thats my opinion. when runescape was hipper than anything i played it and didnt like it much. but i got oblivion for the 360 and almost got addicted to it. good luck finding your game preference.

Wow is a such a dull repetitive game and i was bored of if after 2 days. I played it til lvl 28 just to figure it out a bit more. I should have stopped at day 2
Appears like many xbox fans here, I am a fan also and enjoy to play games… my gf says I play too much, but man it’s so amusing. I’ve been playing mw2 and halo 3 for months and can’t stop! It is pretty boring i just bought the game and have been playing for 4 days and im a lvl 12 bloodelf Paladin and im pretty bored. The quests arent really fun and the dessert look just makes it feel more dim. I was addicted to rs when i was 10 eventhough people say that warcraft is better. I just can’t find the addiction in it. The quests are also pretty boring.
I’ve play for 4 days and had a level 26 warrior and I’m already bored, some quests are too long because the distances are just too separate. I like the game the first 2 days and got to level 21, but the last 2 have just been too boring, going to play when I’ve nothing else to do until the end of the month and then lets see how the “addict” evolves.
Playing 15 months > you’ve been addicted. Probably just bored recently…
wow is such a retarded game. video games should focus more on hand eye coordination, it was the whole point in the first place. wow addicts might find similar enjoyment if someone was to come out with a Speed Jeopardy, or Xtreme Crosswords, or just keep taking IQ tests and then bragging to their friends what their score is. Personally i try to make money to pay my bills, go home and do chores, then try to relax with some entertainment. Lol how much money does blizzard pay you to be pro at the game? Im thinking of a negative number, any guesses?
Wow was a great game in its time…but yes i agree with most it is boring and repetative..doesnt matter if you have a lvl 80 warrior , mage etc…quests are all the same…ive done alll there is to do on Wow (other than the retarded achievement thingy)and i have nothing to show for it other than a back back and i gained 10 pounds lol. For you poeple that ive seen post you got bored after lvling to around 20-30…theres a problem…go to 80 first then lets talk about boredom…pfft 26,28 or whatever..btw i dont play xbox or any other console
