Best way to make gold in World of Warcraft?
Does anyone have any advice on how to make tons of gold in World of Warcraft? It seems as though Professions are the right way to go for making tons of gold. If it is, which two professions should I go for? I am thinking of getting Mining and something else.
Highest level as of this question is 65.

I went with Alchemy and herbilism, the herbs make lots of money as it is, but alchemy is making me even more. (Cardinal Rubys) It really depends on your server try and go with skinning and either herbilism or mining.

I just have autoloot on, large bags and loot w/e drops. I maxed out about 300g a day on my dk when he was lvl 60. Now hes 72, i get about 500-600g a day from northrend drops, quests etc.. also got maxed out mining on my hunter..mine saronite = epic cash

Professions are a good way to make gold, but there are other different ways. One way is dailies. You can find dailies in Icecrown and Storm Peaks. But in your case, level 65, there are many dailies in Outland as well. They can give you anywhere from 5 gold to 25 gold. Another way is random dungeons. You can get 20 gold for your first run, then 13 per run after that. (Im not sure on the specific amount of money on BC random dungeons.) You also can get loot from the dungeons and vendor or auction the items that you pick up. (Cloth, abyss crystals, frost orbs etc.) The last way that i use is the auction house itself. There is a great addon called Auctioneer. In simple terms, it finds items in the auction house that are under priced, so you can buy them, and sell them at a higher price. But with this option, you need a pretty large sum of gold to do this method. Hoped this helped alittle.

Since you’re still leveling I recommend mining and skinning. I know you’d be thinking "but armor costs more than ores" but it doesn’t really work like that, surprisingly. Mining and skinning are the best professions to make money while leveling. This is a fact agreed on by the good players in WoW. They bring money, but they don’t bring stuff you could use. If you take something like smithing for example you can make your own armor if you wear plate.
