   From what I understand, Ebay has stopped allowing auctions of virtual goods. Since all property in World of Warcraft (characters, gear and gold) actually still belongs to Blizzard Entertainment, it would be inappropriate for them to allow people to sell it on Ebay (you don't own it, you can't sell it).

   Plus, Blizzard can delete your character or at least delete the gold after you pay for it (good luck getting your money back)
