How much does World of Warcraft cost per month?
In US Dollars. I’m interested in playing, but not sure if I can afford it.
Also, how much is the actual game that you have to buy?
$20 for the Base game that comes with 1 month free service. or
$40 the base game and the burning crusades ( first expansion) with one month free service.
In November the Wrath of the lich king is coming out and it is on preorder for $40 ( second expansion)
Like I said you buy the game 1 month free with it, (that is 1 month from the time you activate the account. Not 1 month play time.)
You have to pay $15 a month after that ( order from Blizzard or purchase from any store that sells WoW or most PC Games) you can save $12 by getting the 6 month plan but ( if you deside the game is not for you do not get unused time refunded)
You will not need any of the expansion until you reach level 40-60. So I would tell you if you don’t want to spend a lot of money on the game right now, just buy the base game and use the one month free service to see if you like it. that way if you don’t like it you only spend $20 instead of buying everything and losing everything.

It is either 30 or 40 dollars for regular game. Then you have to pay 15 dollars a month. I have played WoW in the trial and i do not like it much. I rather play Guild Wars, it is only a one time fee, like the second or third biggest Mmo
