im making a new character on a pvp server. its going to be either a hunter or a rogue. which of them do you think i should make for raiding , instances, lots of pvp(BG's too) ? i know a lot about both so, which do you think is better?

i would go for a rogue because you can go invisible and pick pocket people!!

Hunter is the more utilitarian character. I play a Ret Specced Pallie and my only fear is a hunter.

Both classes are generally over played, so either will have problems in PvE raids, but that can be solved through proving your play skill to your guild/raid group.

    Good luck, and happy hunting.

Hunters are very easy characters. Rogues are a DPS class. They're both good for raiding/instances/etc., but getting a group depends on your server. Like mine for example, there are TONS of rogues & hunters. Sometimes those races have problems getting into groups that already have too many of them.

It all depends on your skill sometimes. If you suck, go for a hunter, it'll make you look like you're a good player. (lol)

A hunter because they have very good range and they have a gun. They also can train animals at lvl 10 if you complete a certain quest.
