why is everyone so addicted to World of worcraft? do you think its worth playing it?
I don’t find it THAT addictive.
Sure I’ve found myself going to bed and eating later than I should, but I think it’s pretty harmless, for me anyway. Except it does kinda cripple your social life, but my partner and I play together so its ok.
I guess it’s kinda an escapism from the real world into a fun fantasy world! Because lets admit it, the real world can kinda suck some of the time…

It’s ok, lets put it this way it’s almost runescape with better graphics and costs more money.

Dungeon siege 1and 2, sacred, diablo, Guild wars, decide online, srynia.
WoW is ok, but for the money you have to pay it could be a hell of a lot better. All the games I just named are playable online and offline without pay, except buying the game.

I think it’s about committing yourself to a goal. If you read a book, start a race or even a school/work project you generally want to get to the end.
The problem with wow is that there is no real end, and there are a full suite of sub-goals for you to commit to while you go on this endless journey.
In my opinion it’s not worth playing. There are so many other things worth doing, and as gaming goes this is one of the most repetitive I’ve ever seen/played!
