World of Worcraft? Looking to level up in world of worcraft but wanting some extra tips?

Just started playing world of worcraft and am wanting to level up quickly, having a hard time so far =( Anyone know someone that can help me? This world of worcraft game is fun though! =) Thanks

I understand you are looking for "World of Worcraft" aka World of Warcraft(its ok many people spell it wrong) tips. Well, this game covers a lot of territory, but I can provide some general tips from my years of experience playing WoW.

For starters, let’s talk about exploring and leveling in general. A lot of people make huge mistakes in how they go about leveling, finding new places, completing quests, all that good stuff. I’d rather not have you make the same mistakes, so listen closely.

Always plan ahead. If your goal is to have an enjoyable ride through World of Warcraft, leveling at a steady pace while remaining within the atmosphere of the game, then a plan is essential.

A good guide will tell you all of the quests you have to complete, in the right order, and the path you need to follow to do it. My best guide recommendation is http://www.wow0to80fast.com .

If you do not have a guide, you will need to plan out the quests that you need to complete at each level and plot your own path.

Setting up where and what you are going to do is best, but not always easy, so at least decide on a general path, mapping out the zones you plan to use at specific level ranges.

You can do this in your head or on a piece of paper or a spreadsheet. For example: when you enter a new zone get all the quests that you can, then do all of those that are in one area of the zone, after you’re done with those do the ones that are on the other side of the zone, and only turn them in when your path natually crosses the quest receiver.

Then, once you hit the target level, just zip on over to the closest questing spot/monsters/new zone and continue at a good rate of travel.

If you’re new to the game take some time to practice all of your techniques, spells, and skills. Practice on the low level stuff, it’s safer. if you learn a new weapon then take the time to practice on it. If you have tradeskills then use them and keep them as high as you can at all times.

Some useful skills are…

* As you know, red mobs attack on sight. Practice moving around them without attracting their attention. This way you’ll learn their "aggro range." You can use this skill to move close to a group of mobs until just one sees you and attacks. Then you run back, kill it, and repeat.
* A level 16 hunter in the hands of a skilled player can "kite" a level 21 elite boss. (Most characters and most players can’t do this, but with practice it’s possible.) Kiting is the skill of staying out of reach of the monster and still killing it, either with arrows or spells. Learn to kite, especially if you’re a mage.
* Learn what everything on the screen means and learn how to adjust your camera view as needed.
* If you find someone who doesn’t mind answering questions then go ahead and ask.
* Read the WoW Forums (forums.worldofwarcraft.com) and you’ll pick up a lot of useful info. Try not to get distracted by all the gibberish, though.

Good luck and maybe we will play together on this "World of Worcraft" someday ;D

Well, for one thing, its WARCRAFt not "Worcraft" and let me tell you, if you play alliance, stop now! The Horde levels alot better, make an orc or troll because they have the best starting quests then just go with the quest chains. instal the AddOns WhereToNow and QuestHelper from either Curse.com or WoWMatrix, if you hve any more questions, E-mail me.

Don’t get discouraged…starting a new game always presents it’s challenges. You’ll be kicking butt before you know it!

    1. Check with the official WoW class forums. (Just pick whichever class you want to level first.) There will probably be a “sticky” thread that contains information on the best spec to use while leveling up.
(Note: Talents points are very important, but at lower levels you won’t really notice. Be patient. They add up!)

    2. Go to curse-gaming and get an add-on called Quest Helper. It will direct you on where to go for quests. Questing, in general, is the fastest way to gain experience.
There are certain quests you might want to skip, if it’s taking too long. (Example: A quest that requires you kill a specific enemy, and other people are camping the spawn point, so in order to complete the quest themselves.)

    3. Whenever Quest Helper isn’t being helpful enough, go to wowhead.com. Enter the name of the quest in the search field, and read the comments near the bottom, especially the comments in green text.
I find wowhead.com to be SO helpful, that I usually have it open in the background while playing WoW.

    4. You may need better gear, but only buy stuff from the auction house if it’s cheap, and has the stats you want. If you’re not sure what stats you want, that’s another reason to visit the official WoW druid forums and look through the “sticky” thread information.
At level 58, when you go to Outlands, you’ll find that from that point on, you’ll probably be getting better quest rewards. Most of your gear will come from just doing quests and getting the rewards for it.

    5. Be patient. Like I said in number one, you won’t notice how powerful druids can be until you get to a higher level, giving you access to more abilities, and more talent points.

    6. Carry some type of food or drink in your bags. You can use this to recover HP/MP in between fights to make sure you’re at your best when you fight a new enemy.

    7. Make sure you’re at full (or very high) HP at the start of a fight.

    8. Don’t attack enemies that are too high of a level. If you’re having trouble, stick to enemies that are only 1 level higher than your or lower. If you just want to “grind” enemies (kill them over and over, not for a quest), stick to enemies 1-2 levels lower than you. They give less experience, but MORE PER HOUR spent playing the game ;)

    Good luck and have fun!

well i can give you a few tips.

-leaving your character in an inn or capital city is a good way to build up rest xp (which gives you 200% experience when you kill something in your range) as you get higher level you are going to want to stock up on rest.

-getting quest helper to help you with knowing where to go and what to do for quests.

-get focused on questing. dont keep going back to capital cities and hubs just because you want to go the auction house or check your mail etc.

-doing quests constantly is faster then just running instances over and over again.

    -again quests, quests, quests

as you go along you will learn more things about the game and how to be more effiecient

Questing is really the best way to level up quickly. Try to do all the quests in an area before you move on, otherwise, you might get to an area that has mobs that are too high for you.

Also killing more than the quest requires is always a nice way to get a bit more xp. Trying farming the same mobs, preferably ones that give you money and/or cloth, for about an hour or two. You’ll be suprised how quickly you level.

Also make sure that you have rested experience at all times. I always like to leve two chars at the same time, so I can work on one while the other is getting rested xp.

    Good luck!

Well the easiest way you could ever possibly level is by getting a friend to start playing with you and recruit him from worldofwarcraft.com by going under manage account and then the recruit a friend option. This will give you 3X the experience for everything you do with him than if you just did it alone. This will only work until level 60 but I got my priest to 60 with my friend in 3 weeks not really trying too hard. I’ve seen someone get from 18 to 47 in one day with it though so it just depends how much you’re willing to play together. After you get to 60 just quest while ALWAYS being in the queue and accepting when it comes up. Hope this helps!
