how do i unlearn a proffesion in wow?

I want to get rid of my mining
so i can engineer. How do i undo my proffesion if possible

Open up your skills window (default hotkey is K) and scroll down to where it lists your professions. Directly beside your mining profession skill there will be a circle with a line through it. Click that and it will prompt you to confirm deleting.
