How do you boost Engineering in WoW?

How do you boost engineering in WoW?
What do you have to do in order to boost?
I tryed searching on www.wowwiki.com but no luck… >.>

If there are quests plz. write em down. THANKS!! :)

Make engineering items from your craft list that are yellow or brown/amber. Green works too, but you are not as likely to skill up.

When you gain every 5 – 10 points of skill, revisit an engineering craft master and learn more plans and schematics, or learn the next level of the craft.

There are other plans you can buy from vendors, or get as drops, or purchase during special world events.

It is the same process for gaining levels in any skill category.

Pretty accurate, but you can pick alternate items to skill on depending on what materials you have on hand. I find that Mining is very helpful as the second profession when you are engineering.

Oh – and pick up a Gnomish Army Knife in the auction house. Saves you some bag space because it’s several tools you need in Engineering, all in one item.
