Is it worth it to be an engineer miner tank paladin in WoW?
I mean I’ve heard that skinning is great too, but I just don’t think its that useful, so I went with engineering. Do engineers get any bonuses? Do they get cool stuff that’s worth using?
Engineering won’t make you that much gold but it’s about the funnest profession to have but I would not get it if you are starting out. I’d go with mining and blacksmith or if you really want some gold, just go mining and herbalism so you can gather both things and sell them in the Action House.

Engineering is better for PvP and DPS, go mining / BS or mining / JC if you want to make stuff for tanking.

Yh , but its very expensive to level. But there are awsome benefits to becoming engineers, you can make a mount Motorbike and sell it for 20k Gold or mechanical pets. Just you need to borrow A LOT of Gold to level it, since you need to smelt and smith stuff…
I would advice to make a character first and level Herbalism and Alchemy to earn lots of GOld, then you can transfer the gold to the engineering character to level him…

Some people go with the professions that will give the best bonuses. Skinning gives you a bonus to crit chance when it levels up. Mining gives a bonus to Stamina as it levels up. Personally, I would do BS’ing and Mining just because they will give you the most money. BS’ing gives you extra sockets, which is always a plus, and Mining makes bars that are the single most expensive production item in the game.
